BlueSky Mast enables Comet by Comtech to be quickly setup and deployed by a single person in only ten minutes.
BlueSky 350 series mast provides a stable 10.5 foot (3 meter) elevation for Comets modular terminal, extending comms ranges up to 60 km and beyond.
The 350 series 3.5 inch outside diameter (OD) accommodates up to 185 lbs (84 kgs) of payload capacity, providing robust structural support for Comet's troposcatter hardware.
Tested to MIL-STD-810G standards, BlueSky mast systems ensure reliable mechanical performance and survivability in harsh conditions including military, disaster recovery and emergency environments.
The 350 series packs down into two custom hard cases for transport.
Key Capabilities
Troposcatter can provide LOS, NLOS, and BLOS Troposcatter has a higher survivability than Microwave and SATCOM because of its multipath reception and highly sensitive receivers. Troposcatter provides inherent LPG/LPI/LPD/LPE based on the scattered nature of its signal Operates in satellite congested or denied environments. Troposcatter is a low latency transmission typically operating between 6-8m In conjunction with DSSS Troposcatter can operate as low as 50uw (microwatts). This is 100 times less than LOS systems. There are no SAR’s with Troposcatter…it’s all free bandwidth
